Latest news from RS website:

RapidShare has now 100 Gigabit of Internet bandwidth, which is completely dedicated to our customers. Because of this speed boost, we have decided to disable the download tickets again.

That shold be really good news for all non Premium downloaders.
Also for me as a Premium uploader.
More downloads, more points, faster extension of the account, longer time downloaders could benefit from the file being available, more downloads more points, faster extension.........
You got the idea, and people wonders why RS is popular and a preferred host, apart from the spamfree part...

From November 10th, for accounts that use more than 20 GB of storage space, any files that have not been downloaded for 90 days will
automatically be deleted until storage falls below 20 GB

It is unclear whether the clock starts ticking on November 10th or whether they will 'look back' and delete all files deemed "inactive" on that date.

Either way...it's a blind move to pull
