Sorry if I'm old school, but don't know what a php file is, and nothing happens when I double click.

What software do I need to make the file viewable?

Thanks.

need a link or an example to figure out what you want exactly

As for php,

PHP is a powerful server-side scripting language for creating dynamic and interactive websites.

PHP is the widely-used, free, and efficient alternative to competitors such as Microsoft's ASP. PHP is perfectly suited for Web development and can be embedded directly into the HTML code.

The PHP syntax is very similar to Perl and C. PHP is often used together with Apache (web server) on various operating systems. It also supports ISAPI and can be used with Microsoft's IIS on Windows.

I guess you could get a free DL of Easy HTML and open your php file from within Easy HTML. It has a refresh window so you can see what effect your code has before you save it... What You See Is What You Get [WYSISYG] realtime eidtor.

WTF do you want to keep a php file for?
