From the number of posts I have, it is obvious I am new to this excellent Forum.

However, I have a problem. I find many redundant threads with similar if not identical titles. The more is not necessarily the better.

I would urge fellow members to SEARCH before posting. Redundancy in posts is unavoidable, but in threads, a considerable improvement is needed.

May be the moderators can help by merging threads and closing old ones.

The excellent Forum would then become even more excellent!

Am I alone?

There is a problem with the moderators deleting old threads and posts etc. Any post which gets deleted means that the poster loses a point on his/her post count. And while a lot of the older posts contain links that are no longer valid, there are some which still work.

My only recommendation is that you reduce your expectations for files to be still available for download the older they are. Especially when they are rs.de files as many have changed to rs.com and their rs.de files have disappeared.

While we do attempt to advise persons who start a thread on a subject that already has a thread dedicated to it, we cannot check every post in every thread, obviously. Therefore, we recommend that the poster do a search beforehand when initiating a thread on any given topic.

Searching is not always easy. I personally do not like the 40 page and longer generic video threads. Some people have threads over 100 pages. If such a thread appears in my search results, I am unlikely to look through it. The "post in 1 thread" rule is intended to stop people from making single video threads. If you have 10 Girls18 videos, post them all in the same thread. Do not make a new thread for each 1. This does not mean you have to post every single video you ever upload into the same thread. Call it a Girls18 thread, then make another thread for another subject.

When I see a thread started by someone who has not posted in 3 months, and the last 4 comments are asking for re-uploads, I lock it.

I think a certain amount of redundancy is to be expected and cannot be avoided. But it takes away from the joy. For instance, I love MET models and I appreciate the excellent posts, but there are at least three threads if not more.

Much of this redundancies is the result of:

1. Laziness of the posters to use "search".
2. The search system is not sensitive enough.
3. The mods do not move quickly to merge "new" threads with existing ones.
4. And of course, may be turf, and /or not wanting to intrude.

This is what I would do if I were a moderator:

1. Put all new threads under a temp/request subforum until the mods decide where to place. This means that we cannot open new threads in the main sections but can reply and post there.
2. Create topics under each subforum. For instance: under fetish: peeing, foot fetish, spanking, ass licking, etc. Under the PIC category: models, celebrities, site (MET, 21st, AW, etc).

But these are some thoughts that I am sure the mods and admins have considered and even more.

Thanks!
