Which File Host Is Best?

Hi all, thanks for considering my question.

It's time to renew my file host accounts, so I thought I'd ask for your opinion. I've been a lurker til now, but am thinking of getting in to posting. I'd like to make enough income from posting to at least pay for my file host accounts.

In my experience, all the filehosts I've used are sorta cheesy, not that professional. It seems a problem with the entire industry.

If you were going to spend a zillion hours uploading stuff to a file host, and wanted to earn a bit, who would you use?

Since my buddy Ckdk3 convinced me to use Upstore, I've been very, very happy with all a$pect$ of po$ting. In fact, it's made posting fun for me again.

You can use your earnings to pay for your account and they sometimes have really good deals. As a premium member, I got a 6 month account for 35 euros if I recall right.

I was using K2S for awhile but barely got any sales, which was really suspicious. And they stole the money I did have in my account. Now compare that to RG. I haven't posted any RG links in a long time but the links I do have posted generate enough $$ to maintain my account and then some.

The one problem with Upstore right now is that it is only allowed as a mirror host, so you would need to use a different host with it, like UL. Hopefully that will change. And if you have a premium UL account, you can remote upload your UL links into Upstore.

When is the last time you saw a file host pay it's members for downtime like that? Yet another example of why the host should be a main host.

BTW, I was able to access the site each time I tried, so they were probably only down in certain areas.

Would be nice if you make a "test" and allow Upstore as main filehost for a month or two.

I'm sure that you will be happy with the result!

I think i would leave Rapidgator if Upsto.re would be accepted as a main file host here. Nothing against Rapidgator, but i don´t like to post mirror links at all.

Give them a try, there is nothing to lose i guess.

IMO, Keep2share is good for free users as well as premium users too

Over the last few months Upstore has been performing really well for me.

But as mention most host seem a bit sleazy/cheesy and could go down without much notice.
Id say try to check out what other people are using and stick with that. (And hope youre lucky )

As of today, Upstore cuts free users down to speeds partially below 10kb/s. This is exactly what i call just unusable.

I just started a download as a free user and am getting 80-100kb/s. While that pales compared to the up to 8mb/s I get with my premium account, it's far from 10kb/s.
