They are just spambots (computer programs).
When they start posting, us moderators start deleting.
We try to catch them as they post.
They don't come back after posting their initial run of spam but about 6 hours later new ones do.
As a wise man once told me, "deleting their messages is just like playing a computer game". Oh wait a minute, come to think of it no... it was Abraxas that said that.
