Any movies of worth checking out?

I have to admit that lately it has become increasing hard to find a good movie. I mean real good.

Among the last ones worth mentioning are: Dallas Buyers Club, You're next, Blue Jasmin, Rush, Runner Runner, Prisoners.

Which movies could you recommend be it new or old?

What genres do you guys like in general? What do you look for in a movie?

The Way Back

The movie industry has been really dismal lately. Today's current crop of stars just don't do it for me. Thank goodness there are some really amazing tv shows to watch. Season 4 of "Justified", for example, has been incredible!

Honestly, the last good movie I saw was Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino". The first time I saw it, it felt a little long but when I watched it again, it just flew by.

Mel Gibson's "Darkness" movie from a few years back is way better than it got credit for. The plot is a little thin but it's a pretty decent detective/action movie.
