I see the powers that be(obviously, not Svinto)have made another excellent choice as a mod. Esty, I don't know you very well, but I've seen you all over the forum, and you are a cool dude. Damn, Your Modship, me thinks you may actually have a chance with the lovely Julie - yeah right!!!!

I guess it's only a matter of time before we have another mod - one Modding Man

Esteban I can only congratulate to your new status. I think it was a wise choice and I feel pity with the spammer who will cross your path (see below)

Do mods have powers to delete posts - or ban users?

Seems to be a influx of spammer wankers at the boards lately

Me votes that someone gets a big stick.

mods can delete text of topics
can move topics to spam forum


they send me PMs with the names of candidates for ban
and I ban them

so they nominate members just like in big brother? with points and all that crap?

Deity has accepted the appointment of moderating this forum.

Oh I just saw something to comment and Abra didn't in his post.

Chances to catch them quicker has gone up rapidly with the rescent appointments of mods.
More eyes and hands.
