Probably a dumb question but here goes

Why is it that when I download some video files from this site they download as html files. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to play them. Am I missing something?

Happens sometimes to me as well. But the file is still a video file regardless of what extension it has, which you'll see if you drop it into any media player. But if you click on it explorer will try to open it with the app associated with the html extension, ie your browser. You can change the extension to the correct one with a file renamer or do it yourself in dos mode as extensions are hard to change in windows unless you enable display full file name in folder options (i think).

Thanks guys. To answer your question about the links where this happened. They showed up in the german Charlotte ones. I have tried to change the name in rename mode but no luck. I will keep trying.
