ImagePile

I had a post, in the Pic Post forum, with images for Victorilyn from Domai, that I used ImagePile's hosting service for, but it was removed.

I couldn't find any rules regarding the ImagePile site, so I was wondering if they are not to be used and my post was deleted due to that reason.

If anyone can provide any information, I would appreciate it.

Hello, ozzy. Normally, I only delete posts made by Ramblin` Man (thats how I managed to overtake him in total post count, by the way). However mistakes do happen. Most likely it smply was an administrative error, so please go ahead and repost your topic.

It was me who remowed it the first time and now a second time.
Reason is that the site is having agressive popups trying to get you to install software and that is SPAM.

Thanks for the reply svitno, I didn't realize ImagePile used popups, as I never get any from them.

I'll use a different host for my pics.

You don't get any probably because you are the uploader and have a cookie saying so.
Thats how they lure people in to post on their sites.
It could also be that you have a firewall preventing this.
I dont have that.
The rules are clear, the forum should be spamfree and those pops are spam.
Thanks for understanding I'm not doing this to be a pia.
I'm just excersising the rules which are there to protect our members who are less experienced on the net from getting something unwanted.

I understand, sorry for making you delete them twice, that wasn't my intention at all.

I used Imagevenue this time, as I just up'd them again, hopefully they are alright, as I've seen others using them that don't get removed.

If there is any site that's preferred or recommended, Please mention them and I'll use that site.
