Beer

So which is your brew dark or light?

Voted dark, but of course there are many types of beer -- lager, ale, porter, stout, etc etc. And let's not forget Piss (mostly brewed by large American manufacturers, e.g. Bud, Miller, Coors, anything light, yadda yadda). and Camel Piss (mostly brewed in the Middle East and Egypt).

No doubt the honey flowing out of the Holiest of Holies of some of the Teenfuns models is the best beverage on the friggin' PLANET. But coming in a close second, IMHO, is ...
1. Guiness.
2. On tap.
3. In an Irish Pub.
4. In Ireland.

When not in Ireland #s 1 and 2 suffice.

Voted light, but I pretty much drink any beer!

Some favs:

From Denmark: Carlsberg, Tuborg and Faxe
From Norway: Ringnes and Nordlandspils
From Czech: Pilsner Urquell
From Ireland: Kilkenny
From Israel: Maccabee
From Lebanon: Almaza (quite nice and easy to drink)

I can have one or two Guinness, but that's it.... Too heavy for my taste!
I find Kilkenny to be a good "inbetween" beer!

Corona Beer

Dark, but after a few, I quit being such a connisour, and dark, light
whatever, any beer will do...hick!

My favorites are Belgian brews: Duvel, Orval, Hoegaarden

As for pilseners: Pilsner Urquell (Czech), Budweiser (Czech), Spaten (S. German).

I also love Kölsch beers (N. German).

My favorite beers to drink with hot Mexican strippers: Corona, Sol.

how about a nice Indian Pale Ale (IPA)... really hoppy and fresh. of course you have to go to the US Pacific Northwest to get one (the micros don't have the production capacity or distribution infrastructure to sell it too far away)

Dark beers (many tend to be too bitter) and light beers lack taste

with that said, my (beer) fridge goes through several phases each year. For about 4 months out of the year, its completely black (guinness), and with guinness being as expensive as it is, after the black month, its the green month (heineken). since heinken isnt much cheaper (if at all), i turn to the college favorite brown (killians). Asides from those 3 beers, I dont think my trusty beer fridge has ever been tainted with anything else...except for some coronas for cinco de mayo, but that doesnt count
