Ok, so I'm probably the last person to discover this, but just in case...
Say you see a file you'd like to have, but it's been uploaded to a file host where you don't have an account.
Sure, you could use the free download at that host, but it will likely be much slower than the host where you do have an account.
I've noticed that if I do a search for the video title, I can usually find another thread on the forum where the same file has been uploaded to the file host I use.
Should I copyright this amazing invention of mine???

Sure, but you'll have to get behind me as I wait to copyright my 'Water Is Wet' discovery!

There is yet a better way to look for things that you want but can't get because of a filehost that you don't have a premium membership with.
I use FilesTube. FilesTube.to
The have a buch of files hosts that you can search all at once, but they don't have all that's out there and sometimes the new short links are not found but it's better than using google or even DuckDuckGo.
But that's just my 2 cents worth.
