A litte more help please if Poss

hi again and thanks for all the info so far these forum pages are great. But i would like to become more of an active member and bring with me loads of pics and vids. Does any one have any software that they can put me onto for converting dvd into avi, and if poss are there any threads that will help me through the process of uploading and sharing my files with you. FlaskMPEG is freeware for converting .vob (DVD) to .avi.

I'm fairly familliar with it so I can assist later if necessery.
