Why did TTB shut down?

I heard a lot of rumors why it shut down but some make no sense. Does anyone know the real truth?

He claims he's just tired of doing it and has made plenty of money, so he's off to do something different. He's not exactly a young guy anymore, so I have no reason to doubt him. I noticed he's no longer going after his posted material like he used to, so maybe he is done.

His story would make a pretty good movie if done right.

It was a -18 modeling site based in the US. It was shutdown years ago and the owner charged with making and distributing c p. The massive case the state had against him completely fell apart and all charges were either dropped or he was acquitted of them, if I recall. He bounced back, made a small fortune doing the same thing and has now mostly retired from it.
