Where's the dummy button I somehow managed to overlook?

Anyway...for the past couple weeks, I've had no sound on some of my video files, although video is coming through just fine. I'm currently using Windows Media Player 11 (11.0.5721.5145), and it has been running on my comp for a while with no problems. But now...arrrgh!

The specific videos were working fine before, and if I clip them with a video editing software and save them as mpegs, they run just fine with sound intact. So what gives...? Is there a hidden mute button I need to look for?

I checked my volume control, and all the sliders are up and un-muted. WMP is un-muted and the volume is all the way to the right.

Any suggestions out there?

TIA!
