Why the over-abundance of exclamation marks in the title of your post? Is that so you can display to the members here just how excited you are at having yourself recently discovered torrents?

And if you know about torrents, dont you think that we have heard of torrents, too? The members here prefer their own methods of sharing with the other members, and 'seeding torrents' for complete strangers via some file-uploader program, strangers with whom they shall never interact - as one might when part of a chat-board community - is not, one would imagine, very high on their to-do lists.

Porn torrents ... ahhh yes, you're lucky if you get more than 100 seeders. And if the torrent is more than a month old, you'd be lucky to find 10.

Now how long is it going to take to download more than 50mb from 10 seeders? A bloody long time.

Now places like Rapidshare, you don't have to worry about finding seeders, seeders dropping out on you, you've just got the one stable source.

The only time i've found torrents better than www based downloads is when it comes to tv shows and there are in excess of 5000 seeders to connect to.

torrents are no good for porn.
I use it to download movies, operating systems, japan idols dvds, rips of rare porn sites and tv series.

sometimes I get expected download times of hundreds of days for dvd rips, whole seasons etc... its jus a pain in the butt and the memory usage of the downloaders is surprisingly high (albeit for someone who knows little about IT and other such black arts)
