I too have a problem with Rapidshare.com. All I get is white page while Firefox tries to load but I have found a couple of solutions. This is a problem involving British Telecom, they are apparently trying to save bandwidth. Try Googling "Rapidshare.com blocked by British Telecom". You'll find several techie forums with posts on the subject.
Pasting a link into the address bar and adding s after the http does get you to Raidshare.com but doesn't always find the file.
I have now downloaded TorPark from hxxp://www.torrify.com/ (change xx to tt). This is a non instal version of Firefox with Tor built in. Use this with Tor enabled to access the first page of Rapidshare.com. Before you click "free" or "premium" disable Tor using the onion button on the taskbar. If you don't the download can be very slow.
If you're a free user like me just click "free", wait for the timer to countdown and away you go. Hope this helps.
