Images not showing up in IE

Hi gang!

Recently I got a new computer that has IE7 instead of 6. I also use Avast anti-virus software.

On this computer for some reason I cannot see most of the images included in the posts. I can see some of them (for example, the "Peaches as a brunette" post I could see them) and I can see some signature images, but others I cannot see at all. Not even the red box with the x!

I realize it must be a browser setting of some kind, or else a security setting. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ok this is bizarre. I've been having the problem with images showing up for a week now, and right after I made the above post asking for help, the pictures started showing up!

Did somebody throw a switch or something? Or maybe it wasn't logging me in correctly.
