rapidshare.com down for NTL / Blueyonder users??

Seen quite a few forums with BY and NTL users having no access for the past two days.. Now into day 3.. anyone else having issues??

update, ive got a connection in the next room as this connection is needed for lag free gaming. The other connection is with pipex and not BY and im getting into rapidshare.com without any issues.

Yep, having the same problem. Accessed briefly yesterday but no access again today.

Yes, same problem here using Blueyonder. It worked ok after midnight last night, but not again today. The secure side for uploading I can still get into no problem though.

I've been unable to access rapidshare.com for the last couple of days.
My ISP is virigin.net. Does this mean these ISP's are activeley blocking rapidshare and if so is there anything we can do to get round this.
I have a premium account with rapidshare which still has 3 months to run on it and will be really pissed off if I can't access it.

I have queried it with my ISP, suggest others do the same. Will report back when a reply is recieved. As Virgin/Blueyonder/NTL are all the same company, I guess anybody using them will have the same problem.

Ive spoken to BY, and then mailed them the main issues, ping traces, and a mighty kick off email as i do use RS for more than just porn

An hour ago it came back on and is coming in at rapid speed.

Not saying i **** them to switch on, but after i sent them a diagnostic sheet showing BY physically blocking the site they seem to have lifted it.

I've got access again as well but it seems pretty slow.
When downloading a file which would be the best server to use,

Download via Cogent 8416 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via TeliaSonera #2 7653 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via Level(3) #2 7665 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via Level(3) 9328 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via TeliaSonera 7703 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via GlobalCrossing 4417 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via Cogent #2 8065 / 10000 MBit/s
Download via VSNL 3928 / 10000 MBit/s

Do these numbers mean that say for VSNL 3928 MBit/s of bandwidth are in use so 6072 MBit/s is available, so would this be the best server to use to dowload a file.

I just found something on another forum that worked immediately. i have been unable to access .com for 2 days.

Go to command prompt. type " ipconfig /flushdns " (without the quotes) I copied and pasted it, this clears the ip dns settings. voila connected straight away. Not sure whether this is a permanent solution but its working for now.

If anybody uses this, let me know how it goes

I had problem too...but

It seems that they have addes more servers...

AND did anyone get the situation where all your downloads had a ?? instead of # of downloads and date last downloaded? the #s came back in stages over a day.

Download speeds seem to vary too of late...been as low as 10 kps at times
seems ok now though.

RS.de is accepting uploads again...but dont give reward point any more

According to an NTL employee on another board, this is an NTL problem which is being worked on at the moment?.

An easy workround is to change the link to https. This works every time

So just click the link, click the address bar at the top of explorer, and add an S after http.

Seems to be working now

I have been having the same problems as above and the https suggestion works.

I have just extended my premium account and now it does not recognise my loggin details although I have entered as in confirmation email.

The problem now seems to be that rapidshare.de & rapidshare.com are different companies and you cant download a rapidshare.com link if your rapidshare.de member! What a load of bollocks!

All help pages are useless! I'm getting really pissed off now!!
