Maria, a young Spanish girl in St. Tropez, surrenders her virginity to André, an oily opportunist. He makes a profitable habit from seducing girls at his father's posh home. The big mirror behind the bed is a two-way job; and his so-called father is a local despot arranging parties for middle-aged pot-bellies who pay a high price for the live show acts behind that mirror.
André also rules the local hippie roost, an orgiastic group celebrating sex parties.
Maria finds out the truth of the mirror games, when catching her lover behind it with a fresh, young blonde. André and his father get into a fight and Maria shoots André. Instead of leaving with her just arrived father, she decides to join her lover in the ambulance to the hospital.
Inspired by the tales of Boccaccio, Aretino and Bandello, the movie is divided into five episodes, with the cuckolded husband as main theme.
In the episode "The Cucumber Ciccillo", the husband becomes trusting that a cucumber, peddled by the magician and healer Ciccillo as a panacea for everything female, will be the antidote to heal the terrible boredom of his wife.
