After installing an Internet Explorer 7 I've noticed, that image bar is not appearing at some pictures at certain sites ... anyone knows how to force it to appear ? Some registry tweak may be ?

I prefer explorer (some programs depending on it) + I think : Windows made by Microsoft it is better to use it with it's own browser ...

IE is nice cuz it has VBScript and whatnot. but it also likes to install things without telling you. this is no good. if your going to porn sites they tend to do this the most, install stuff without telling you. most websites now are tested in IE and firefox. so i think firefox is the best choice.

I'm using IE7 with no problems. It's quite stable... and surprisingly secure. 'Most' downloads / pop-ups etc are auto-blocked by default...

I'm happy enough with it. Common sense is still the main rule for clicking on links though.. Laughing

I'm not sure what problem you mean with the imagebar? I haven't seen anything missing. Some things are in different places - but it all seems to work.

I'd say that it's more that the site has turned off right click...?

You could find the images in your cache anyway if you are desperate.

Tools - Internet options - settings - view files.

There is no solution.

The website has simply disabled your ability to right click and bring up the menu to save and it seems to be an IE7 issue.

I was able to bring the menu up on other sites without issue and I was also able to right click and save if I wanted to in Firefox.

So it's not a IE7 issue, it's a website one.

Although some sites turn off right click, most of those you can left click hold and drag to your desktop. a window will popup asking if you wish to copy the file, click yes. Check the file size as you may have to do it a couple o' times as the first maybe (not often) 0 bytes.
Me when I want more than 1 pic, Just download the whole page with Offline Explorer. Save what I want and delete the rest.
