7.3 rule - crazy

make a gold middle rule as in PS forum : 1-399 mb - 1 link, 400-799 mb - 2 links, etc

Perhaps posters could be encouraged to indicate the file host they are using in the title of their thread, with abbreviations such as [RG].

As example....

[RG] Naked Girls Do Fun Things

Or...

[K2S] Naked Girls Do Fun Things

It seems this would place a very small burden on posters, while being of significant benefit to all other users.

I see that some posters already do this, and it's quite helpful.

Ok, in a pathetic attempt to boost the ratings for my suggestion, I will now claim that my idea above is the best idea of all time, only I could come up with such a brilliant plan, and my idea is the only hope for saving this forum from catastrophic destruction and chaos.

Can I vote for an option to subscribe to threads. It seems there is already that feature, but no way to actually see/follow/receive notifications for those threads. It would save me a LOT of time. Currently I bookmark them, but obviously need to check every thread to see if it has been updated.

i suggest making tags for search for different hosts. eg ul.to depositfiles etc

Do not edit posts before forty-eight ( 48 ) hours; thereafter, posts may be edited only for the purpose of replacing dead screen captures or replacing dead links with live links from the same file host.. Do not post the same moviescene within forty-eight (4 hours from the last time it was posted, regardless of file host or resolution.

Posters might be required to indicate the file host they are currently using in the thread title, like this...

It's not my idea, a few posters already do this, and it seems very helpful indeed. It seems this would be a very simple and useful upgrade to the forum, requiring almost no work.

A more ambitious change could be to create sections of the site dedicated to specific file hosts, but that's a bigger deal, and the forum already has a useful organization.
