a worrying development

have you noticed the new strap-line at the top,

"Please take a moment and visist our sponsors below. Help to keep our forum free!"

GS sent PMs saying he gets 40 quid for every link, is the strap line a veiled threat or a subtle indication of the future?

i say just stick to the sponsors GS - in fact get a ton of them if u want, but if you start charging Il walk to somewhere like the ....... forums

I don't think GS is even close to threatening that these forums will become a pay service. I think it's important that everyone understand the kind of bandwidth and disk space that we use here though. GS is well within his rights to remind us of that and to ask that we patronize the sponsors.

This forum is advertising for GS' pay web site - nothing more.

And yes, bandwidth is expensive, a little help for GS by placing the ads is cool.

The links to other sites seem to change after a few weeks. Maybe there will be some good teen sites linked every now and then also?

But most of all so long as the main site fallenangelfuns delivers on the teens front I'll be happy.

yeah i dont mind the links - one or two have been ok, and more power to GS for earning some money on the back of it - just dont like threats!
