to avoid having to wait a curtain amount of time inbetween your downloads simply

- delete all cookies
and.. goto run and type cmd this brings a a black box which is dos prompt

then type in the following
- ipconfig /flushdns (Press Enter)
- ipconfig /release (Press Enter)
- ipconfig /renew (Press Enter)
- exit (Press Enter)

this should allow you to download one file after another but note not to try this whilst already downloading a file

get the jist? Very Happy

It works only for dynamic IP. I have stable one, so it works not.

This will only work with ISPs that allocate dynamic ip addresses to their connections. If you type IPCONFIG in the command window without the switches, it will give your current IP address. Do this, then do what wasd suggested, then type IPCONFIG by itself again to see if things have changed. No amount of turning off and on routers or deleting cookies will work if you have a static ip address. You will have to fool around with routing through endless proxy servers and spoof your ip. Not really worth the time or trouble though.

kiwc, I think jejeje was referring to resetting an adsl router. If you have a dynamic ip, this will sometimes connect again with a different ip.

With stable IP, it's a bit more trouble, you need to spoof your MAC adress. With a program (only one I know) like KLC software's SMAC 2.0, cracked.

You spoof your mac address, update your ethernet adapter, close the program, reboot, while rebooting, you need to either press the reset button on the back of your modem OR pull the power plug from it for 2-3-4 seconds.

Upon rebooting, your ISP should see a different computer and give you a new IP.

It works 100% of the times here. Smac2.0 is hard to find, I have a copy here, thx to Abraxas, who gave it to me 4-5 months ago.

This does NOT work for router. Only cable-modem with STATIC IP.

When I find something real good in multiparts on RS, I usually can get it in less than 30 minutes total.
