OK... first things first. A Collector Account allows you greater flexibility to manage your uploads. When you activate it, it places a cookie on your machine. So next time you click on the Collector Zone button, you are taken to your collection. Once you are logged in, you can easily view everything you have ever uploaded via that account. It wont show stuff you uploaded before activating your collector account however.
There are 3 big advantage of these types off accounts.
1. They are still free.
2. They allow you easy access to your upload list so you can kill a file, see how many times it has been downloaded, when it was last downloaded etc. It also alleviates the heartache of forgetting to copy down the download URL and losing the link. It's always there on your collector zone page.
3. This is the biggie. Every person with a free account that downloads any file in your collection greater than 1MB will earn you a point. So long as they haven't downloaded more than 5 files in the previous hour. Earn 10,000 points... get a free premium account! Earn 20,000 points... get 2 months worth. If you download and upload enough, essentially its possible to keep an ongoing free premium account.
Once you click on the klicke hier button, the next page, even though its in German, is pretty easy to work out. First off choose a username. Second field is your e-mail address. Thirdly put in a password. Fourth field is just your password repeated. Don't click the German admin checkbox. Submit your details and you're away!

Also, another question:
We all know that rapidshare doesnt allow an account to be used by different IP addresses, it gets deleted.
What I'd like to know is whether it would be possible to use two different accounts from the same IP (not at the same time). Has anyone tried this?
Any reason why you would want to do this? A Premium Account is pretty much a license to whore down as much as you can 24/7. Queue it up and watch it fly. Not sure the reward would be worth the effort of trying to spoof IPs or hack the accounts somehow.
Hope this has cleared things up for you a little at least.
