Anyone else experiencing crappy donwload speeds with oron?

Since a couple of days I'm experiencing very crappy download speeds of only ~ 100kb/sec with my premium account. It's not my provider as I tested the availably speed and it should easily climb to 1MB/sec as it has in the past. If i trigger multiple downloads at a time, each would run with 80-100 kb/sec, so it's obviously not a total bandwidth limit, but a limit to single downloads. Anyone know of any issues with that? Solutions? Tipps?

I get speeds in the range you mention and much more rarely, mega speeds like 800 kbs. Wish I knew how to get the big speeds. Does it have something to do with who has posted the file?

yeah I used get like 250~400kb/s at home, and 400~600kb/s at the bar I always hang out.. now only get like 100~150kb/s at home.

Mine's okay.

Oron and RS are all slow, they are taking the bulk of the load since MU closed.

And forums like this that only allow one or two hosts and promote oron as the best make things worse for speeds.

like a traffic jam, oron is dying.

At least you guys can get good speeds; I'm on totally crap BT Broadband and Oron downloads around 147 kb/s... on a good day.
Many other uploader sites are even worse, at least Oron is constant.
What slows me RIGHT down is Photobucket or Imagevenue which either crash my browser or take forever to complete loading preview pics on the page.

Sometimes faster than others.......sometime 250 kbps..sometimes 35kbps
and I am using wireless from 150 ft away from the router...
sometimes slow..sometimes not....traffic is a variable I think????I dunno??
At least it seems reliable thus far....
