HJ Split help requested

I downloaded hj split about 6 months ago and for a while it worked great at joining files.

Lately, when I put the .001, .002, .003, etc. on the end of the individual files, it gives each of the first 4 files I'm trying to join a weird designation and each of them are different.

Has anyone encountered this before? How do I resolve it?

If you need to add manually the file extension, they are not hjsplitted files.

You must remember that ALL the file names have to be exactly the same when you add the .001 etc to the end. EXACTLY the same and even then sometimes HJ will join the files together but nly recognise the first patch.

try finding a program called "Easy Video Joiner" for files that are not HJ compatable.
its a freeware program and quite good and damn easy to work with.
