Process to correct "infractions"

I created a thread here and accidentally put all 6 pic sets in the initial post for which I "received an infraction" and the thread was moved to the archive from the non nude babes fanclub section. I have made mistakes before, corrected them, and the moderator moved the thread back to the category that I had put it in. However, in this case, I have corrected what I believe the problem was and notified the moderator who had moved it to the archive, but I have not heard anything back and the thread is still in the archive. What is the general expectation for the correction of posts with problems? I am trying to do the right thing here, but I am not getting much feedback. I have read the rules again, and I think that the thread is now in compliance. There is still the issue mentioned in the thread about many small files rather than one file for all sets. This is a good point and I will keep it in mind for future posts, but there is no rule being broken because of this. Is there something I am missing here?
