downloading full cd's can tracks be seperated

hi,,as my title to thread states ,,it seems I can only download a cd I want in full but i hate having to always play cd as is,,
basically one track..
i have roxio easy cd creator,,can i seperate tracks individually,,
payment would be from looking at my last post..

search for cue files for the Cds you downloaded. google is your friend.

Are you talking about ripping individual tracks from cd's?

Ease Jukebox works pretty well and the latest version of Windows Media has a rip feature that works pretty well.

he downloaded one track full CD. He wants to be able to play let's say as example: track 4 or 7 without having to fast-forward to the beginning of the song.

To burn it, he needs a cue file which will say to the burning program: there's a track a 0:00:01 then the second begins at 3:21:04 etc etc etc.

There are sites, on the net, that have cue files for tons of commercial CD.

Again: google is the best choiice to search for that.

ahhh I get ya.

Seems like a silly way to download something though.

save it as caravanserai.cue, notice the name of the mp3 file, you need to put yours in there. Use Nero to burn it. Found at http://www.regeert.nl/cuesheet/

ps: they"re called cuesheet, I made a mistake, probably the dilaudid typing, that I take for pains.

make sure you either: rename your mp3 like the name in the cuesheet

or

in the cuesheet, make sure to change the name there with the name of your mp3.

put both in the same folder

Start Nero, preferably the latest version of course, you can find one on Isohunt.

choose the : make a CD from MP3 option, double-click on the cuesheet.
