Can you not just contact the indicidual posters that you believe are in violation of your posting rules?
It seems pointless to slap a rule on ones that are not posting content just to get their numbers up.
Since I posted saying I thought this thread should be exempt from this rule, due to the diversity of material that hits this genre, I've seen quite a few posts of people actually thanking people for the amount of posts put in this one place. For every one person that posts such a comment, it usually reflects a much larger number who don't post. So I really don't see who on this thread, this rule is helping.
Is it really going to be any better for instance, if every poster here, set up the same thread name with their poster name at the end, and then posted the same content they are currently. Or if thaat breaches the quota still, having thread name, poster name 1, 2, 3, etc. It wouldn't breach posting rules, same amount posted, just users would be on an endless search for it, instead of having it all in one place, which not so long ago, is exaclty what we were being asked to do on threads, keep it all in one place.
I'm not trying to cause trouble here, but can't we have a voice on these threads any more?
Don't we owe everything to those that bother to post?
In other areas, I see the same videos posted again and again by various posters, who download it off one thread and post it on their own with a different file name. I find that infinitely more annoying and yet nothing is done about that.
Again, I'll be in the majority, but if you do have a view and you want this thread to live, maybe take one minute of your lives typing and not downloading to express how you feel and save it.

ps - the irony here is that there's nothing more annoying on forums than when people endlessly comment on threads, or just say thanks, and people like me have asked for notification to see when a thread is updated, you click the thread expecting to see new content, just to see a thanks. How we've got to the point of encouraging that chatter and saying please less posts is beyond me.
