why do images appear as a small red cross

HI. can anyone tell me why recently more and more of the screen cap images of vid clips won't apear except as a small box with a red cross, frustrating as no point downloading a clip if you've no idea of content. Used to work OK.
I use AOL and always have.

There can be many reasons.
1. screens are dead (were removed)
2. temporary picture hosts's troubles
3. temporary troubles of your ISP
4. pichost is being blocked by your ISP
