Dennis Bergkamp

To all you Dutch football fans may I say I've watched the testimonial against Ajax tonight and Arsenal would not be the team they are now without the past services of a football God, Dennis Bergkamp. His father named him after Dennis Law, another great Scottish striker who played for Man Utd. The sheer quality of the guy has been regular for several years in the premier league. Goodbye Dennis, you'll never be forgotten. And thanks to the Dutch for the producing a football genius.

ps.. Even Cruyff and Van Basten played the last 10 minutes.

I agree. I'm not an Arsenal fan by any shout or means but Dennis has easily been the best foreign import and a real non prima donna to boot.

And to think he was actually one of Bruce Rioch's signings.
