Dear you hear? The moon landings in the 60's were faked too!
And the US government was slow to help the Katrina victims, because they wanted to drown all the black people.

Sheesh.

Truth is generally stranger than fiction....particularly where the US government is concerned.

Elmo aka Mr Sheese must be a Republican.

It's interesting to note how the 'Orange Alerts' stopped right after the election. I'm sure it's just an interesting and innocent co-incidence...

And the people who were on the 757 are alive and waiting on the far side of the moon for the appropriate time to return home to their families. I wonder if they've seen Elvis?

And I ain't no Republican in case you didn't notice the flag. There are times when conspiracy theories actually have credence. This isn't one of them.

Hey Mr. Sheesh! Laughing Laughing Laughing

So what's your theory regarding why the Soviets never made it to the moon, given that they were in space way ahead of the USA? Wink Wink And why exactly was that US flag waving given that there is no wind on the moon? Rolling Eyes Tee hee.

With respect to the original topic (although wouldn't it be fun to make the name Mr. Sheesh stick), there have been oodles of these sorts of conspiracies regarding 11th September, 2001. I would say this particular video is one of the more extreme and unbelievable ones.

Its one thing to suggest that the US Government staged or orchestrated the whole thing -- but its an entirely different ball of fish (kettle of wax?) to suggest that the US Government willingly killed the hundreds of people on the original planes and also willingly sacrificed anybody who would die in the WTC.

That said, even this video has a couple elements of the likely/potential truth -- but unfortunately builds way too much off of them. Surprisingly, it didn't say much about Osama. I mean, anyone who honestly thinks he's hiding in a cave somewhere near the Pakistan/Afghanistan border needs to turn off CNN for, I dunno, forever. My guess is he's in a 5-star hotel-apartment in Monaco, or Dubai, or ... or wherever the US is hiding him, baahaaahaaahaaa.

Now campers, all of this is just my humble opinion -- don't be hatin'. And I used to live in Berkley (California) -- possibly the most liberal city in the USA, for those of you unfamiliar with the reference -- so yeah, I'm no Republican. Or a Canadian! Very Happy

Stay tuned for the truth in about 40-50 years.

RM

p.s. Yes, the "orange alerts" could have been politically motivated. But that's just politics ... far worse things in the name of politics have happened in the past just before erections. Wink

Haha! I love it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loose_Change_%28video%29#Factual_inaccuracies

It never ceases to amaze me how so many major catastrophes result in rumors and accusations about conspiracies. Even more amazing is how these "investigative reports" can leave out so much data, twist what's left over and still appear to be believable.

Even one of my personal heros, Michael Moore, has been guilty of bending the truth to fit the storyline. It's too bad that authors have to resort to lies and innuendo to sell their stories, because it just makes their arguments that much more hollow when the errors are finally revealed.

The fact is that the Soviets had a lunar lander before the US and even tested it with the Soyuz command module. Apparently it took 4 tries before they were able to get the 1-man ship to complete a simulated mission without a catastrophic failure that would have killed the occupant.

Their biggest problem however, was the N1 booster that was supposed to carry the Soyuz and the lander to the moon. It never flew successfully, preferring instead to explode unexpectedly. Even if they were able to sort out all the problems with the lander, there was no Soviet launch vehicle capable of lifting all that hardware to the moon.

As for the flag, if you were a rolled up piece of fabric attached to a pole that someone was twisting into the lunar soil, you would wave too. There is no truth to the rumor that Buzz Aldrin had smuggled baked beans and Budweiser onto the mission, giving him the wind something fierce.
