OK, let me know, please: anybody else think RapidShare is broken? I have not been able to upload for 48 hours, and no response to email.

Maybe it's something along the line between you and RS - I've uploaded a ton of stuff in the last few days, with no problem.

Are you sure it's not their rejection of stuff already uploaded? The RS gods notice, even if the file is renamed. The damned thing is, they reject duplicates at the end of your upload. Try cloaking your files in zips if you think your files might already be in circulation..

I find that it helps to add another file, e.g. screen-caps from ImageGrabber, to the archive. I haven't had a problem yet using this method.

Good suggestion. I just started doing that myself.

Here's what I get. I have no proxies or firewalls in the way.

I've just finished uploading a vid without a hitch, but then I'm using RapidGet, if that makes any difference.

Try a different browser. I find that mozilla kills the connection on me when uploading. No problem on the down just the up. So as much as I try to stay away from Mr. devil bill gates, I up with IE. Just a suggestion.screenshot

Thanks, all!! As my computer guru says (usually when he can't fix it): "Sometimes the magic doesn't work."

It actually seems to be none of the above, but a little bird told me it may be a "local" network issue that comes and goes.

Gee, and to think we used to have to jack off without these things.

Makes you think. Idea
