Question about rapidshare

Hi,

I am a rapiddshare pro customer.
Is there any option in rapidshare where I can stop others from viewing my files even if they have a link to my file? Currentlly I found that I could download my files without logging into rapidshare if I had the links to my file. I want that only with my username and password my files can be downloaded.

I'm hardly an RS expert but I don't think you can do that. You should be able to PW the sets but people will still be able to DL them. They just won't be able to open them without the PW.

The other thing that comes to mind is do you have your folders made public? I know Mediafre has that option, but not sure about RS.

The only difference between free and premium RS user nowadays is:

Free user can only download one file after another while premium user can download several files simultaneously.

If someone has the links to your files, there's no way to prevent him from downloading.
The only way to do that, is to keep the file links private (read: don't share them).
If you want to keep some files private you made public before, you can either

• delete them
  
• rename them

I think rapidshare now closed all folders... And just there is files in root of account... So ever file now pepole can see...
