PM & a strange Question

Hey @ all,

maybe this is a strange Question for you!
I checked today my e-Mail Inbox and there was a "New Message Notification" from our Community!
Ok nothing uncommon but when i checked my Inbox here in the Forum, there was nothing!

So either someone enters with my Forum Account or Admins enter my Inbox (last Point i don´t believe)!
I don´t want to Blame our Community Admins, so don´t flame or post, if you want to say smth offtopic! It would be nice if someone can explain to me how my Inbox can be accessed!

What also could have happened is that soemone sent you a PM, you get your notification, and then the person who sent you that PM changed his/her/its mind and deleted the message.

Um ... i don´t think that i can delete a PM in a other InBox. Even if i sent it!
Or is it possible? I PM someone, change my mind and delete both the sending and receiving?

I'm gonna try it now.
I'll send you this message: kljuhiuhxe, submit it and then delete it: if I'm right you will get notified but there will be no message.

Well ... um ... *whispers* The Eagle has landed!
I didn´t knew that i can delete PMs on other Folders just by deleting my Sent Items!

I also saw a burp in the system last night. I received a PM notification for a message I had already picked up. At the same time, lots of graphic images in the forums were coming up with red X's. I wonder if it's all related.

sorry I havent been around much lately so I have missed most of the hic-ups.

no MOD can access your inbox, and I'm pretty sure that even the Admin cant get in there. One thing I have noticed lately is that PM notices sent to my Yahoo account have been coming in about 24 hours late. so when I get the notification I have already read the PM some 12 to 24 hours beforehand. its just a thought, you must remember that the forum runs a hell of a lot faster than the internet does.
