What is a good/ the best *.Avi Player

Greetings Dudes,

got a Question :

Can you recommend me a good Avi Player?
Normaly i use Nero Show Time, but sometimes i need a reinstallation, because the shortcuts delete automatic (i know ... sounds strange but its a fact)!
So which Program i should use?
