Dont worry it would cost them so much money to do anything to you that it wouldnt be worth there time. They use scare tactics. I have seen whole fourms threatend before by many web masters at the same time and all we did was shut it off for a month , now we have been back 6 months and no one has said nada.

If you get a REAL E-Mail from a site your a member at then yes stop posting there stuff and take down there links. Other than that just chill.

Anyway, I reckon from the, to me, unclear answeres in this thread that no-one has given away anyones EMAIL address (never mind PMs) and that no-one is getting any shit from any webmasters? And also, no Mods have access to them, no matter what Mandingo wrote and especially so if I did the right clicking in my profile (which I did)?

If so Im quite happy, and I´ll continue posting, happy as a trout in fact. And if anyone has any more to say about whether mine or anyone elses email address has been passed on, please be very clear on the matter from now on. As long as you dont have that box checked then no one can send you a e-mail. Only G.S. and anyone { not me and I dont know if anyone has them } he gave special powers to can see your e-mail address.

Besides spaming you there are a few things they can do but it's very Hi-tech
and not worth the time to most.

If a pc is hacked they still only get the info from that persons pc and nothing else!

ALL of you should have atleast 3 forms of protection going at one time { I posted all this info in the help thread }

But there is a simple fact or point thats being missed { NOW DONT FREAK OUT! }

1. If you have ever owned a board or been a Admin. Then you know that it's really quite simple to grant special power- access to hidden parts of the board and other things to a person with out changing there title to Mod or whatever.

2. I dont know anything like this has happened I just want to let you know it's possiable.

3. Let's put everyone's mind at ease as much as possable , I will keep this page open and watch for replies so I can answer them to the best of my knowledge!

Ok so I will stick to this thread as we all should for these kinds of questions and answers, as well as answering your pms. Soon this will get lost and fade down the page and all will be good at the restaurant at the end of the universe!!!

Just as I had calmed down now this I guess I & HRR are the ones your talking to mm, the deleting thing I mean, sorry I do regret it but if you two (sds & mm) feel powerless, estranged or disconnected from the other moderators, GS & who ever does the network administration for him (not to mention the potential 'special' people)....well then you can only imagine how some of us feel. Its a strange management style to have people in charge completely inaccessible and the ones that r openly mad if not fighting and perspiring sarcasm. What the hell! I'm getting so confused and feed-up & have been for a week now so you want candid here is the short list:

1. 3 of 5 listed moderators not ever present except for in the Russian speaking section(a, are they the Russian mob or something ? b, O yea Teeno for a couple of SPAM once in awhile),
   
2. Site administrator and other moderators inaccessible by pm or e-mail (so why even list them?),
   
3. Information disappears and reappears with no explanation,
   
4. Site inaccessible at times (allot) with no explanation at all,
   
5. Multiple Allegations of betrayal by other moderators or owner (that seems strange?),
   
6. Allegation of possible secret or special powers given to unknown persons who may or may not review and or disclose sign-up information,
   
7. Advice by moderators that we should have used lots of protection (3 kinds) & a fake e-mail address (wow-why?),
   
8. Missing files and or deleted files at RS because of "complaints",
   
9. Allegations that there are spies for other sites among us,
   
10. Rampant hijacking to other boards, spam-free etc.,
    
11. Members along with other moderators setting up alternate post sited for things not allowed here and then openly advertising the link in member’s signatures,
    
12. Anonymous comments and movements of posts with Moderators openly not aware of such actions or communicating among them selves,
    
13. Un-named Moderators sending personal messages to members saying to stop posting and threatening members,
    
14. Sharp increase in member in-fighting,
    
15. And then my own small contribution, people deleting their own threads & or posts (maybe because we need support & leadership that we r not getting).
    
    

There are more things that could go on that list but my mind is too mixed up right now to go on... How the hell is all this going to be resolved I want to know? Well little old I can put my head in the sand, go about my merry way a-posting or simply go away... but none of these options give me what I want and if these problems are not addressed I don't feel good about anyone’s future here

One question:

Have you, mm or SDS, talked to any of the other moderators or GS about any of this? More, I’d like to know the last time you talked to them at all because I’ve heard both of you imply it’s not very often. I do think its high time you if not 'us' do hear from them though especially the other moderators. Well, that's were I am until I read another bomb shell...for now I'll go post a few big met sets for people who asked…. and hope, cross my toes that you two can help us ...
I'm through ‘acting alone’ here mm/sds and my preference is to laugh, share with people and yes revitalize my hands with skin cream privately so I'm depending on you two and trust you 2 and can only say I'll do anything reasonable if it will help you two to privately find the answers as management.
