I'm looking for some sort of free program that combines pictures really easily. Say I want to make 1 preview picture of 10 Tiny T@bby sets but don't want to go thru the hassle of shrinking each pic down and combining them one at a time. I'd like to find something that I would just click on the pictures I want to use and it would auto shrink them to the same size and created a picture that's 3 x 3, 2 x 5, 4 x 4, etc.

Thanks to Hammernerd, I've been using ChesireCat's thumbnailer for vids and it takes 2 seconds to make a screen shot. So is there anything like that for pics? I have seen one that will create a list of all of the pictures in a photo set but I have no clue what the program is called.

Anyone have a recommendation?

This is the type of thing I'm talking about:

I would prefer something about more colorful, but you get the idea.

That sort of pics are called contact sheets.
There are a lot of programs which can create such pics:

jbwannabee,

Image Grabber II will do what you wish. The same program can also be used to create previews. It just depends upon the option you select.

If you choose 'open file' from the file menu it will create a preview of a particular video. If you choose 'open folder' it will create the same type of output (preview/contact sheet) using the individual pictures within that folder.
