You have a lot to learn about keeping your priorities straight and honoring your committments. You have a site for which people have already paid you for subscriptions. You are neglecting it. I have been looking forward to updates to teenfuns for close to two weeks. As expected, when I checked today, I found that my subscription had expired. So you have cheated me out of around 12 days of content.
Do the right thing, GS. Extend my subscription so I can enjoy the updates you owe me. Give me a month and a half at angelfuns for the price of a month. Do SOMETHING to show me that you give a damn about the people that are supporting your efforts.

Uh oh ... if you start handing out favors like that ... making exceptions ... I dunno, I dunno ... You may have just opened the floodgates, GS!

Ok you guys want to get technical?

Actually on the tour page, BEFORE you join, it says, "Now updated Every Two Work Day". (look for yourself) It doesn't promise you anywhere in the "pre join" section that updates will be " posted every work day".

So lets see, there are 20 work days in Feburary. That means you are owed 10 updates for that month. Now 13 updates have been posted for Feburary already, SO YOU ARE 3 AHEAD! I think you got what is owed to you, plus.

However since you are "supporting teenfuns efforts" as you say, I am sure you are more than a 1 month subscriber... right? There will be 19 or 20 updates posted for the month of Feburary total, so you get 10 extra updates free. That is double what you were promised before you joined!

If you are going to re-subscribe, then the timing of the updates is really no big deal, and the "extra" updates, are a bonus. However if you are just going to sign up for one month, then you are not really "supporting" anything except yourself and you have received all that is owed to you and more.

It always seems it is the few who mess it up for the many. In the first post you make you talk of sueing because you didn't get enough freebies! Geesh.

I hope you think about it and see that you are really getting a great deal at the Funs sites and decide to "support" this forum with other "kinds" of posts! If you still can't be conviced, than I am sure you can probably easily find a better teen site that has more updates, with better quality, and content, that also hosts a free forum with great prizes worth over 100,000 dollars... right?

Oh, I was actually kidding before. Just chiming in because heck, I'll take free membership at a funs site any day. It would be freaking awesome if they did update more often and with more pics, but like you said, if you re-subscribe, which I do every few months, it doesn't really matter, and I don't see how anyone could subscribe to this site just once.

I also thought hellonewbie was being sarcastic about suing. In all seriousness, I would track down and beat the living crap out of someone for suing Teenfuns because it would threaten my best source of porn.

Maybe we should just help GS on the wording of things though, just so people know what they're buying into.

How about adding a disclaimer like this: "Producing quality teen porn like ours is not easy, despite what you may think. We do our best to update regularly but circumstances often force us to make our updates in large blocks. Nevertheless, we guarantee at least 20 updates a month and have never failed to provide that many. Just be aware that if your membership expires between updates, we WILL NOT, for billing reasons, be able to extend your membership or make up the updates for you. Fear not, however, because the pictures will still be here when you resubscribe, and we know you eventually will."


What do you guys think, would that drive customers away? I can't see it driving more customers away than some of the posts here.

Allow me to ramble:

And no, Josiah - all your sideways reasoning doesn't change the fact that when my subscription ran out on the 28th, the site was updated to the 15th (or thereabouts) That's a week and a half behind no matter what language you're speaking. And no, I'm not letting the subscription run. GS would have to offer a whole lot more than he now does to get me to do that. I've joined the site three times over the past year and a half and have no less content to show for it than if I had let the subscription ride. I'm also out 90.00 as opposed to 540.00.

Don't get me all wrong here. Teenfuns is easily one of my top ten favorite sites. But with all GS's effort and dedication focused on this one web site, it could be UN FREAKING BELIEVABLE. I think that GS is spreading himself too thin and putting effort into a new venture when he already had something well worth developing. Both sites will suffer because of it. Now there is talk of doing individual sites of one or more of the girls. Well, whatever. I've never seen any analysis of business models with respect to adult content web sites, but there must be a method to his madness. I would think that one large revenue stream would be much more efficient to maintain than several smaller ones. To me, the ONLY reason to let a subscription ride is to update the ever livin' crap out of you page. I give, as an example the king of all web pages (in terms of updates, at least) - MET ART. I've had a subscription with them for going on a year now and I don't even think twice about it. I know that every day, when I go to check in at MET there will be at least two or three new photosets waiting. Several times a month, they throw in a complete movie. On March first, their update consisted of five new photosets AND a movie. Because MET's content is a world away from Teenfuns/Angelfuns (*ARE* they BOTH going to continue to be maintained?) I suspect that I would also let my subscription run month to month here if the content was updated at anywhere NEAR the same frequency.

In the words of Ahnold... I'll be back. GS's content is some of the best on the net. I'll check in on Teenfuns six or eight months down the road (if it is still up and running) and DL the half dozen or so new videos that float my boat. And if Angelfuns ever gets off the ground, I'll be there too - for a month at a time.

Shrefnols hit it right on the head I think. The update issue really should matter more to GS than to us. At the rate he's updating now, I susbscribe every 6 months to a year, and I'm happy with it because I get a decent amount of quality porn for the money that way. When Angelfuns opens, it'll be the exact same way. Out of one year, GS would get 2-4 month's worth of money from me while I would gladly shell out for an ongoing subscription if he would put up something along the lines of one photoset a day and an entire video a week while maintaining the same quality. Now I'd imagine it'd probably be pretty hard to do that but I definitely think working towards that goal would be more productive than opening a whole bunch of fly-by-night sites because all of the sites that have withstood the test of time, like alsscan, karupspc, and Hegre, all work on that model. Of course, maybe GS is already rolling in so much cash, coke, and Nansy that he just doesn't care, which I can understand.
