Basically I'm wondering what is the best way to save/record the video off a paysite, that doesnt offer the option to download it. What program to people use or how is it done?
Basically I want to save/rip the videos off of Daredorm and CollegeRules. Hey i figure if your paying as much as you are for it, you should be able to keep the content your paying for, forever.

Thanks in advance Smile

Are you using a MAC, Linux, or MS PC system?
What type of video are you trying to capture? mwv, avi, mpg, rm, qt...

Not to insult your intelligence, but you have tried the old 'right click and save target as' routine, right?

Using a PC with Windows 7. And im not sure what type of video its going to capture, i just want the video. The format makes no difference to me. But I know people do it, on paysites that dont allow the option to download their content, and obviously it looks like they go above and beyond to make sure people cant rip them. But I know people can and do, so im wondering as to how its done.

Um, video, not pictures. In this case, these paysites, you cant right on the video and save target as. Its not an option... and the link the play the video doesnt save the video either, just wants to save as firefox document.

Thanks

Go to download.com and search for site rippers. It will download complete content of a website on to your hard drive. I just found one for you called WebRipper 1.31. It's free and its not even freeware. It allows you to filter what files are ripped. check it out

I agree. its quite easy. any video that opens up on your web page, has a little link that says download video. or something to that effect.
