I will also chime in and highly recommend Jdownloader... Its a fantastic piece of freeware software! Great for any kind of downloading, not just what goes on in this forum! Laughing

I use it everyday for all sorts of stuff! Works on hundreds of hosts with premium functions build right in... As well as automatic shutdown/standby if you enable the add-on.

I've been using FreeRapid Downloader with good results. Plus it supports lots of file hosts.

Might have to take a look at jdownloader though as it seems to be well recommended.

Try Free Download Manager - I've been using it for 4 year and it works perfectly. Also supports torrents and haven't experienced errors during all this time. No adds, no nothing and absolutely free Smile

Nice piece of software, although I didn't test it with windows 7.

I am using JDownloader but it looks like too slow compare to IDM, the fastest speed it could reach was 300Kbs/s for me ... Smile
