rar files corrupted

Hi All,
After downloading a file, i use a rar extractor to open it & time after time it says the file is corrupted, does anyone have
any suggestion or recommend a decent file extractor.

It largely depends on when it's throwing up the error.

If you're getting an error box as soon as you try to open the file stating "The archive is either in an unknown format or damaged" then your file download is likely incomplete and thus useless.

If you can open the archive in winrar but get an error when trying to extract the files then you could try going to 'tools -> repair archive' and see if winrar is able to rectify the issue. If not, again it's likely the file is incomplete or corrupt and thus unrecoverable.

Chances are you'll have to download the file again. Moe often than not the issue is caused by the files download cutting off before it was complete.

If you just get a crc error try the "keep broken files" option.
For a movie file this will usually allow you to watch the movie.
