Did you have a ****hood romance?

I'm taking an informal survey. I'm wondering how many in this forum had a ****hood romance. Could be a sexual relationship, playing doctor, a romance, or some lost love from preteen years or under.

I had one. My family used to meet at a lake during the holidays, and my Uncle and Aunt brought along some friends who had a daughter my age. She was nicknamed "Pepper." She was a cute, freckled young girl and I fell in madly in love with her. I started writing her love letters when I was eight and she was seven. Her mother liked me and encouraged the romance. Once I visited her house and her mother combed and brushed out Pepper's hair while she was in her panties and nothing else. She invited me to watch. I sat there glassy eyed. I was in heaven. Then later when we were at the lake Pepper started begging her mother to let us sleep together. "You and Dad sleep together, Grandpa and Grandma sleep together. Why can't we sleep together." She worked on her mother for two summers. Finally her mother and my mother agreed, and when I was 10 and she was nine we slept together on a double bed in a small cabin. That night when we were in bed, she began telling me jokes. "What did Minnie Mouse say to Mickey Mouse?" "What did she say?" I wondered. "Why don't you put your car in my garage." She told another one. "One day Little Kathy's mother told her never to show her panties to the boys. But that afternoon the boys paid her a dollar to hang from the monkey bars. When she got home she bragged to her mother that she had earned a dollar hanging from the monkey bars. "I told you to never show your panties to the boys!" her mother yelled. "I didn't, Mom. I fooled them. I took them off!" Pepper continued to tell jokes and we had a great time. But I was a coward or too innocent. I did not take the cue. We finally went to sleep in each others arms. Next year her mother refused to let us sleep together (and I was ready to do something that year). So ever since I've been haunted by her memory.

Pepper is all grown up now. She's had so many guys park their cars in her garage, she decided to open up a public storage location. While it's nice to beat the rush hour traffic, don't let the past haunt you because you didn't take that early spin on her driveway.

I had many crushes as a **** and some of those girls I still think about more than fifty years later. Unfortunately, I have no interesting stories to tell. They had no interest in me, or so it seemed in those days.

Yes. When I was eight I was crazy for the girl who was across the street - just opposite my house. She was seven. Her mother told her not to play with me. She followed her mother's instructions. For ten years we hardly ever talked. Maybe three times. We even had a class together in high school.
I still think of her and hope to contact her on Facebook someday.
Unlikely though

It's interesting how those girls who get away (no matter how young) are the ones that stay in our minds.

Mine was a girl named Megan. Blonde/Blue with freckles. I was friends with her older brother, Damien. She was XX when I was XX. I was about 10-12 yrs when i met a girl who was very cute imo. We went fishing or something like that and i remember i was trying to kiss her...
