I have not seen one started since the World Cup Thread?
So i thought i would do the honours...

With the Champions League Draw currently taking place and English Premier League already started and La Liga starting this weekend, i think we need a thread to talk all things football...

Some good teams in the europa league this season, no easy groups really...

Looking forward to seeing what Benitez makes of Inter. The European Super Cup wasnt a great start for him, but he's got the best club side in Europe last year so surely cant do too much tinkering.

Tottenham suffering from a continetal hangover? Glad Wigan won though as i like Martinez as a manager and he is under real pressure.

My team Liverpool play tomorrow...! v West Brom, we should win but you never know with Liverpool nowadays.

Barca and Real kick off their season tomorrow also.

Well Done Wigan, didnt see that coming!

Hopefully if Torres starts tomorrow he can find the net, and then find it a few more times and kick start his return

La Liga on in the background already. Shock for big spenders Man City and an important win for Liverpool, without hitting the heights and well held on by Villa, leaving Everton in the bottom 3 early days...

Liverpool signed Raul Meireles, which is a good signing! Going to be some more transfer bedlam before Tuesday...

Madrid were held to a suprise draw at Mallarca (who sold aload of their players to clear their debt!) and seemed to not gel very well which is understandable i guess. Can't wait to see what Mourinho does with this Madrid team.

Good result for England in the end, got better in the second half. Nice to see Torres bagging a couple for Spain too and commenting that he is getting sharp again

I'm from Spain... this year, la Liga will be for Barça or Madrid again... The other spanish teams have no level...

I hope Barça will win Liga and Champions League
