Here you can send an Invitation-email to a friend. Sending will reduce your invite allowance by one; ask the Board Admin for more invites. The email will include your forum username, your current IP address and your email address.

How it works?
Click on it and a new page will open.
Enter the email of the person you want to invite.
Enter a subject.
Write an invitationtext. Send.
Your username will be added to the invitation together with your current IP address and the email used for registration.
(Bankaccount and name of your mother as a maiden will be added later. Note: Joke.)
From the information I have got will the free registration be canceled and become by invitation only.
How the person who has been invited will be able to choose a username and get a password has not yet been revealed to me.
For more invitations, when the initial two have been used, ask an Admin.

I don't understand why becoming a private board would benefit the new owner, new Good Samaritan.
Surely he relies on promoting his host Oron, and getting as many uploaders and downloads from this board as possible?
It would be nice if New GS posted an announcement explaining the new feature, WHY it's there and how it's to be used. This is the way most boards are run.

I believe it will still be open for guests to browse and download from unhidden links.
To be able to post, you will still have to be registered but new members will be added only after an invitation from an existing member.
This has nothing to do with VIP.

Good to get that ironed out because the text in the invitation page says exactly: Username (handle), IP and email is sent out with the invitation.
Apparently the email quoted in the invitation will be the board's since it has been sent thrue the board system.
Still doesn't explain how the new potential member will be able to choose their username.
