Such drama. It makes me wonder how much money you were actually making before RS changed their rules. It must have bee a lot, in order to make all of this work your doing now worthwhile. All this effort to make the site look like a time-tested and thriving Oron-centric site. If you were willing to stomp all over convention and then put all this time into creating a new Oron file sharing site from the ground up anyway, then that's what you should have done, make a new site.

Now: as I said FO is not the only forum in the world. And speaking for me I am currently active in 20-30 forums worldwide. Running "MY" threads with MY unique stuff. Those threads are DONE. They are made with love, handmade screenshots (actually REALLY handmade, not with some fucking automatic screen-making program) - but they are done. I technically would be able to post ONE lesbian teen fisting thread with 1,000 Videos - most of it in HD, all from FTV, ALS-Scan, some other sites of great quality - RIGHT now. Because I made the core thread 2 years ago and let him grow. Other people do not put much love into their posts. They put in more technical aspects - if you know what I mean. But on the other hand it is ME that runs the largest thread on EB in my section, it is ME with the 3rd highest reputation out of 53,000 members there - and not some thread maker without any love or heart just posting their links. Nevertheless I WOULD HAVE the opportunity to post about 3,000 videos RIGHT now If I wont. And I could make it look like it was my first posting of that stuff here since I always have some personal text (I really wrote some months ago) and some handmade screenshots. And I always respond to requests or questions.

So: there IS no FAKE or cheating here. There are some guys out there - no: many hundred thousand actually - that are using god damn ORON as their primary hoster because they were:

a) FUCKED by RS like me in February getting 50% of their 4,000 files deleted in one day

b) Just want to share and be happy with it - for what reason ever.

--> The people who know me went WITH ME through my struggle to find the right host that would a) NOT delete my stuff b) give me some FTP transfer that works 24/7 (unlike SHX or DF or MU) c) has some staff that actually cares if you have some problem (unlike HF).

And let me give you once more ONE thing to think about: you have to be very creative and a bit nuts to estimate the amount of FUN you can have with using oron. And yes: you can be a GOOD poster although you are using ORON. Basically NOTHING changed. Otherwise I would have been long banned on all the other forums I am working with.

ayabite - You seem to be highlighted as a mod, could someone please tell me who are the current moderators of the forum. If you can't say yet, just say that.

I know what you mean ayebite, I feel you when you say you make your own screenies and actually put love in your thread, that you care for it, that your thread is your baby, instead of just a whirring bit and piece of machine that is the shit from a bot.

And I feel that while I started out almost making nothing, and having few views my threads are growing in views, and yes, $$$, because I actually care for them and put things up that people like, instead of trying to spam junk all over hoping for the random clicks/laws of large numbers.

PEOPLE like that shit. It is the damn sad truth of life and internet: they take shitty threads, with fucked up tube rips and DOWNLOAD them like crazy. I work on one 1.7 gigabyte alsscan video to get some nice shots without the watermark and in the same time 20 new posts are made in the "shittyshittygangbang" section. And that is not a problem created by ORON. Look at shrmtrx or look at goddamn HF: those guys are grabbing MY videos, even my screeshots and post them.

So my idea is: claim YOUR area, make it your homeland and let retards download shit made for retards. Everybody is happy.

You see: even very strict forums who actually elaborate my suggestion of deleting ALL "super fast poster threads" had one key argument: those threads were loved. end of discussion. One mod was so kind to install one new rule saying: "We want more Quality here - please PM me all threads that you think can be put together by the fast posters". But that had no effect at all.

IN EVERY large forum it is like that - open forum I have to say. And, well, people are happy.

I was a poster here, so maybe I could say some words, too.
All the discusion about "how bad is RS, it deleted files, changed rules". Yes, it is. But - that hoster is good for downloader - for a free downloader, who has no accounts, and has no money. After RS blocked my account I started to post to _all 3 other mirrors_ which were allowed here. Why? - to give to people a chance to download, to give them opportunity choose the best server. If there were a possibility - I would have uploaded to some massmirror service,- to give people as much chances to get what they like as it is possible.
Now all talks are going "oron is good for uplaoder, it do not delete files, it pays bunch of money". But I haven't seen a word from oron/"new order" advocates about someone who wants to download! Do you understand, or your money generation schemes do no allow it, that it is not possible for normal user to get for example updates from that site?! I never had bought any premiums - and never will. If all the world will turn to oron - well, then f$%^ it, I will turn my PC off and will sit near TV.
We, people from old generation, understand sharing in the other way,- not thinking about ourselves, but thinking about those who wants to get our stuff.

Just to point out one thing in case GS has no idea what the latest uproar was about and I said it in a post that was deleted in Announcement section which was deemed obsolete and I understand............I had said that after the Oron issue and then finally RS was brought back and without needing a mirror to Oron....forum was trying to coexist with the new members...it seems as some people were really trying to move on with the rules, but then the extermination of Mods has just gone too far. Granted GS might not like something blah blah blah but that should be sort out between owner and the Mods in private and not by removing them to make an example of SHUT UP or you go next. Those Mods have been here long time and did a wonderful job no wonder their feelings are hurt. No matter what GS is pissed about...........they did way more RIGHTS than WRONGS and that's that. Now GS said PM me if you want your job back but do it my way from now on........no...........that tone is too harsh and not trying to see the whole uproar as one big picture.
