Why is posting...

...in this forum so damn restricted? I mean, you have to read a bunch of pages only to ensure that your content you want to post insn't part of a forbidden homepage...uploaded on a forbidden filehoster or whatever.
Even if you upload non restricted stuff it's still a copyright violation. So, why there are so many restricted sites? (Cant really believe they're all forum sponsors)


Seriously, being forum moderator should be considered as a sort of punishment!

Entering to the forum is not compulsory ... neither is the posting activity ...


But you already know that ...

I can think of numerous reasons why there's a restricted list. I'm pretty sure that, if you can think of at least the half of them, you'd understand the situation how it is quite perfectly.
Just think of issues like copyright complaints (whether or not valid doesn't even matter), agreements with forum sponsors, unethical or illegal sites, websites containing spyware and so on.
I really don't think it's that hard to understand, sorry. Overall I even think Forumophilia has a pretty free, liberal atmosphere.
