Can't reply to topics?

Hi there,

I'm trying to give thanks or add comments to posts, but whenever I click "post reply" I just get sent back to the Home Page.

I'm just getting used to Win7 so could there be an issue?

Thank you for the reply! As you can see, still no luck with replying, but I've just remembered another problem I have which might shed light on this?

When I try to search for a topic, it states "You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while" even though this was the first time I'd been on the site with new computer so didn't think it could be the cookies...and it's still coming up with that message now!

Mmm it's a very strange problem... I doubt that an os can be the cause, but maybe it's an extension of the 502 error?
Try the same solution: log out, delete cookies and log in again, then try to reply.
Have you checked the link in the status bar when you hover on "post reply", it should be like this:

Maybe you have some strange plugin on Firefox that block cookies, ads or other things... You should close them and try agayn.

Might be a problem with the starting url: there are two "versions" of fo, one with "www.forum..." and one without "www". Unfortunately there's no automatic forwarding.
So it can happen that you log in to "www.forum.." and when surfing you get redirected (via a shortened link or some older bookmarks) to another part of the forum where you are not logged in ("http://forum..."). Clicking on the reply button then takes you to the mainpage. If you encounter the problem again, check the url and watch if you are still logged in.

So maybe edit your old bookmarks or create a new starting link in the form http://www.forum...

I've noticed the same problem twice now.

I always log in at https://www.forumophilia.com/ which I have bookmarked, but at some point I ended up on a thread without the "www"... when I tried to reply/quote I got kicked back to the main page.

It's only after finding this thread that I noticed I wasn't even logged in at the thread I was trying to reply to.
