News from RS:

Premium accounts will continue to exist after the subscription period has expired

With immediate effect, premium accounts whose paid subscription period has expired will no longer be automatically deleted. We now offer our customers the option to switch the paid features on and off as and when they need them without having to create a new account each time, as was previously the case. Naturally, costs only fall due when paid modules are booked. Otherwise the account will continue to be free.

Ab sofort werden Premium-Accounts, deren bezahlte Laufzeit abgelaufen ist, nicht mehr automatisch gelöscht. Damit bieten wir unseren Kunden nun die Möglichkeit, die kostenpflichtigen Features genau dann zuzuschalten, wenn sie sie brauchen, ohne sich jedesmal einen neuen Account anlegen zu müssen, so wie es bisher der Fall war. Kosten fallen selbstverständlich nur an, sobald kostenpflichtige Module gebucht werden, ansonsten läuft der Account kostenfrei weiter.

It sounds nice but i mis the fact that there is no more unlimited uploads but 50 GB for 1 account.

Deactivate the Security Lock and go to Settings in NEW Prem Zone: chose option #2: Save files even if account is full - please note our inactivity rule! at Settings for storage limit

RS should have set this as default for existing accounts, or at least mention it somewhere.

finally.. great news.. I had like 2 accounts deleted that way, and I had loads of files on them, sadly Sad

another bummer is the fact that they've split their point system to "free" and "premium" -_-
