Megarotic/Megaporn is NOT free - from Germany

Megarotic/Megaporn is not free for downloads, at least from Germany.

I can't get a free account when I'm located in Germany, I must buy a premium account for 9.99€ per month.

Or am I just too stupid to get a free account?
Do other German user have the same problem?

ME/MP isn't accessible from Germany, though I don't know why.

I know that the owner of Megarotic/Megaporn and Megaupload are German, at least one of them (the same with Rapidshare, the owner are German too).

Megaupload Limited, the company which owns ME/MP and Megaupload, is officially based in Hong Kong, though only for legal and tax reasons, I guess. They don't operate in Hong Kong.

I'm not so sure where the Mega*** servers are located. I read somewhere the servers are located in the USA. Can somebody confirm that?

Still no reason for not being accessible from Germany...

Have tried to get an answer form the support and sent them several emails, no reply so far.

This is typical for companies which provide a questionable legal service.
They simply don't answer your questions.

I'm sure they won't tell you who's the owner of the site neither.

But maybe they (MP) have had problems with age verification and access to that streaming adult site, therefore they canceled access to it from Germany.

I thought about the age verification too. But this law affects only German sites. MP/ME are not German sites, are they?

Other porn sites and streaming sites from outside of Germany doesn't seem to have a problem with this...

Don't know it for sure, I'm only guessing, but that's the only single reason, why it isn't accessible from Germany.

I've sent them another email, but I doubt, that they will answer.


But as long as it works with jdownloader I don't care (tested right now).
